There’s no question that the meetings & events industry needs more players who can provide green services that are vital for maintaining the industry’s relevance.
To support those of you considering starting your own business, I’m planning the launch of the Sustainable Event Entrepreneur Cohort.
The cohort is a program for green-minded event professionals to:
- Become leaders in creating a more sustainable meetings & events industry
- Receive encouragement and accountability on your professional goals
- Get clarity on your business model, target audience, value proposition, and more
- Learn directly from someone who’s been there (me!) so you can avoid pitfalls and reach your goals sooner
So how will the cohort actually help you get there? Here’s the collaborative, interactive format that will help you take concrete steps toward launching your business:
Program Format
- Eight week program
- One 1-hour live virtual class weekly, each focused on a different aspect of sustainable event entrepreneurship
- Weekly business planning exercises aligned with the week’s theme for you to complete on your own time
- Private online group to collaborate with your fellow cohort participants
The cohort is designed to be an interactive, engaging program that provides both concrete information & guidance as well as personal support & encouragement. In addition to the weekly live sessions, I’ll be active in the private group throughout each week to provide feedback and spark conversations.
